Cristiano Ronaldo: “I’ll always have a place for the Décima and hopefully it’s this year”

“I’m excited and thrilled. This museum is a source of pride”, said the Real Madrid striker after the inauguration of his museum in Funchal

A visibly moved Cristiano Ronaldo gave an exclusive interview to Realmadrid.com and Realmadrid TV after visiting his museum. Real Madrid’s number seven was unable to hide his feelings about the exhibition that bears his name in his city of birth. “It’s really wonderful and a source of pride and excitement. I’m happy, excited and thrilled. I hope to win many more titles and trophies. I’ll always have a place for the Décima. Hopefully it’s this year”.
You seem excited. What does this museum mean to you?
It’s a chance for everyone who likes Cristiano Ronaldo to get to know me better: my fans and the people of Madeira where I grew up and where I spent my childhood. It’s really wonderful and a source of pride and excitement. I hope to win many more titles and trophies. I’m happy, excited and thrilled”.

And I suppose you’ll save a place for the Décima.
I’ll always have a place for the Décima. Hopefully it’s this year. We’re really looking forward to being able to win it.

Cristiano Ronaldo: "The team is doing very well, is confident and playing attractive football"

"I beat a Champions League record and I am pleased, but I am not thinking about it; the main aim is to win trophies", said the Real Madrid forward

Real Madrid finished unbeaten in the Champions League group stage after winning in Copenhagen and Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the team’s scorers, spoke following the match: "We have achieved our aim. We have won the group. The team did great on a very bad field. I've broken a record in the Champions League and I'm very happy. It was one more step. The team is doing very well, is confident and playing attractive football. I scored a goal and I'm happy about being able to help the team".
After missing recent matches, the Real Madrid forward spoke about his fitness: "I'm gradually getting there. Because of being out for two weeks it took me a while to get up to pace. I played pretty well, not my best, but I helped the team with a goal and I created several dangerous chances. I'm very happy".

About his role within the team and the records that he is breaking, Cristiano Ronaldo said: "I feel good, useful and eager to help the team. Every match we show a more fluid football and we want to keep going like that because the season is long. I feel good and I want to enjoy this moment. I wanted to score today, as I always do. All goals are important for the team to win and it was special today because of breaking the record. But I am not thinking about the records. The main aim is to win trophies".
