Cristiano Ronaldo is the first player to score 10 or more goals for three consecutive seasons in the Champions League


The forward notched up 10 and 12 in the last two editions of the tournament, and currently has 11 in this campaign.Cristiano Ronaldo's double against Schalke 04 took his Champions League tally to 11 for the season, setting a new competition record. The Madrid forward is the first player to ever score more than 10 goals in three consecutive seasons. In the 2011/12 season he scored 10, in the 2012/13 campaign 12, and is currently the competition's top scorer with 11.

Cristiano Ronaldo's numbers with Real Madrid in the Champions League are spectacular, averaging a goal per game: 46 in 46. Also, this season he has scored in the six games in which he has played. In Real Madrid's European Cup scoring charts he has moved up to third place this season, behind only Raúl and Di Stéfano.
